iOS 4.0 on 3G iPhone (parody)

As a generally happy Apple customer, I bought two 2G iPhones on the first day they hit the market (one for myself and one for my romantic partner at the time). When the 3G came out, I bought that model too. The first iPhone captivated the world because the interface was so well done, so snappy, so interactive; it was like nothing before it. Of course it was, it was an Apple product. That, right there, is why I buy Apple products. And I didn’t even mind that it was missing “copy and paste,” MMS, ringtones, etc — because I knew Apple would eventually get to these through software updates. And eventually they did. Unfortunately they kept coming out with new phones. With faster processors. And they wrote all their software updates for these phones, with little attention to deprecated models. I don’t really use third party software on my phones, I honestly don’t even use ringtones. I just use my phone for SMS, web, maps, and occasionally as an actual phone, so the 3G model was more than I ever needed. Except over time, it’s fulfilled my needs less and less. And it’s not because my needs have grown. It’s not because I’ve installed a bunch of laggy software. It’s because Apple’s firmware has become bloated, with respect to the processing power of the 3G iPhone. I just installed iOS 4 two weeks ago, and at this point, I’d be happy to roll back to the first firmware I ever had, just to have that original speed again; forget about the copy and paste, I don’t need it that badly. Anyways, when everybody is cashing this grand hockey world cup event, how iPhone can stay back? You will see iPhone is entertaining its users with handful of hockey applications. So everyone who is hockey fan out here, you can now play this amazing game on your finger tips. Here are some iPhone apps for the game HOCKEY. World Cup Air Hockey This is an iPhone app specially designed for the hockey lovers. It has three modes to choose from, and all of them require practice, so 1st mode is all about practicing. Yes, hard practice to win the game. You can play with your friends by head-to-head option, which is second mode and third mode allows you to choose a country you want to compete with, so it’s about your personal likeness. May be your country lose the match in hockey world cup 2010, you can make it win the game here and be a champion. The graphics are pretty much appealing and grab the user’s interest throughout the game. And for the price, it is not bad either. It costs $. 99 only. But if you want me to highlight the drawbacks of hockey iPhone app, I will rather be true. I didn’t find it as much appealing as I wished it should have been. But it’s alright for $. 99, atleast one can try it once and will decide himself. What I really didn’t like was the screen, it is too small for this game. I wish that they made it a little larger so that eye-ball can easily play the game. Small screen gives me a hard time specially when puck flies at me. Now second problem which I encountered is that my fingers do not find any control over the angle at which I want to hit the puck. So that’s really annoying at times. But still I managed to score higher than my opponent but it could have been a lot better If the above two problems did not really hit me irritatingly. I suggest you to try it once, and decide yourself or if you want any sports iPhone app, you just need to drop us a message and we will get back to you.
