This is what you need: 1. HDMI to DVI cord or if your monitor has a HDMI plug then get and HDMI cord. 2. Get a 3.5mm RCA adapter with the red and white female plugs Link is here: www.firefold.com 3. RCA Female to female adapter Please Subscribe to show your support. Thank you!

your monitor should have buttons, just read your manual, it doesn’t have to be called a source switch. there should be a feature that changes the display from VGA to DVI

@darthbading most monitors have two input ports, VGA and DVI. so you connect your computer/laptop to the VGA port on your monitor, and connect your ps3 to your DVI port on your monitor. then there is a button (usually called the source switch) that switches from the DVI (ps3) to the VGA(computer) display and vice versa.

Suppose you have a PA system that allows you to connect the white and red plugs and is connected to speakers, will it work just the same? I mean this is only if you were going to plug this in your monitor’s speakers, right?

Maybe your monitor doesn’t support HDCP which is the encryption ps3 uses.
